The campsite is a 15 acre private farm & campground located on the foothills of Kabbala forest range, camp here to go back to basics in this rugged environment with facilities to make sure your stay is comfortable.
We are working towards building an Eco friendly, self sustainable environment and foster responsible camping culture in the country. We encourage every camper to join us in our conservation activities like planting saplings, seeds to build the forest around, digging lakes etc.
Tents along with simple bedding are provided (or you can bring your own).
Home cooked meals (Dinner & Breakfast)are included in the package.
Restrooms are available on shared basis(we make sure all of them are kept clean and hygienic at all times).
Around the campsite
The campsite also has a functional farm growing vegetables, fruits and a few animals. The Kabbala forest range runs parallel on each sides and is a home to a wide variety of wild animals & birds.
Commonly found animals - Elephants, Spotted deers, Sloth Bears, Leopards, Wild boars, Bengal fox, Common Indian monitor lizard, Mongoose, Porcupines, Hares, Civets ...
Birds - Peacock, Lapwings, Baya weaver, Mourning dove, Partridge, Quails, Finches, Sparrows, Red vented bulbul, Grey horn bills, Grey headed kites, White tailed kites, Indian nightjar, Fan-tail flycatcher, Shikras to name a few..
Places of interest - the campsite is conveniently located between Bangalore and Mysore and has many places of interest around for guests to visit on their trip-
Famous Kaballamma temple and kabaladurga hill which is also a trekkers paradise is at a 5 min drive from the campsite.
Bheemanakindi betta/hill overlooks the camp and is another favourite trekking picks. It has beautiful natural arch formation on the rocks at the top.
Muthathi forest & Bheemeshwari fishing camp is at about 40 mins drive.
Chanapatna town famous for its wooden toy factories is just 30 kms away.
Srirangapatna birds sanctuary is at an hour's drive from here.
Royal city of Mysore is just 75 kms from the campsite.
